after celebrating jenny's wedding on the east side of the state, we headed west to visit nana and papa browning. the kids were greeted by this...
and we spent a lot of time swimming in their resort like pool (seriously, it was like being at club med. i'd show you pictures but the fact is, i didn't take any. my dad sent me some, but i'm just too stinkin' tired to figure out how to upload them, so you're going to have to take my word for it.) 
we went and checked out their new town and had ice cream before lunch (papa's are allowed to do this, right?).
and they played games with their papa and laughed together. and papa even took them to see a real live gator and let the girls feed him a leftover sub.
and while delaney STILL didn't sleep (i'm not kidding- the girl didn't even nap in the car on the drive across the state of florida!), we did have a wonderful time.
