the truth is a little bit different. we went to florida to celebrate the marriage of my step-sister-in-law (aka jenny). her wedding was beautiful and i'll blog about that later, but the trip overall was somewhat difficult.
we made a fatal error concerning this trip. we thought that d could handle a week in a big girl bed- traveling with two kiddos in cribs is a bit of a pain in the tush, so we just decided to pretend that only one of our kiddos needed a crib. big mistake. apparently d, my uber energetic babe, has some late night stamina that this momma was unaware of. that girl partied like a rock star until the very late hours of the night. she would not be put down and it was exhausting.
so while we loved lots of moments from our trip, we came home a bit less than relaxed, with dark circles under our eyes, and in need of another vacation.
but for the sake of fun- just look at these snaps and pretend we had a fabulous time, because in these moments we actually did.
